Rail Europe is launching its massive Summer Sale for train travellers to Europe, on May 2nd.
The Summer Sale will continue until June 27th, and promotion codes for the sale will be released each Wednesday on a first come, first served basis.
To benefit from the best deals travellers should book as soon as possible, as there are a limited number of discounts available each week.
To get the most out of the Summer Sale travellers need to have the minimum amount required in their shopping basket – but the idea is that the greater the amount in the shopping basket, the larger the discount issued.
For example – travellers can book tickets for friends and family all at once to receive a bigger discount, or add on extras like the luxury of First Class, or travel insurance, such as the Rail Protection Plan.
The more that’s booked in one go, the bigger the discount on the final amount.
Travellers should be aware that Summer Sale promotion codes are limited in number each week.
If an « Invalid code » message appears when the promotion code is entered, this means the promotion codes for that week have been snapped up by someone who was faster at booking their trip, so travellers should make sure they are first in line the following Wednesday, when the new promotion codes are released.
For the duration of the Summer Sale promotion codes will be released at 0h01 GMT+1 each Wednesday.
